Design: GenomiPhi V3 DNA Amplification kit for whole genome amplification, quantified by Qubit, purity assessed by Nanodrop, library preparation peformed using Rapid Barcoding Sequencing kit (SQK-RBK004). Sequenced using an R9.4.1 flow cell. Basecalling performed using the SUP model.

This project includes Giardia assemblies and SRA data originating from multiple primary isolates including different hosts and geographic locations. The goal is to expand the availability of Giardia genomes from naturally infected hosts as well as to improve the contiguity of existing genomes by sequencing on both short and long read platforms.
